Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the association between manager's role and job satisfaction among 136 (N) employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X (PERSERO) PG.Toelangan Sidoarjo. The Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) Scale was used to measured the level of job satisfaction, and manager's role was obtained via a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Data analysis procedures included Pearson r, and simple regression. Results indicated a significant relationships (p=0.000, p<0.05) between manager's role and job satisfaction, with r = 0.780 and Y' = 50.666 + 0.499X.
